Allmylifeforsale was created by John Freyer in the Fall of 2000, the site was officially launched in January of 2001.

In August of 2001, he sold the last item, the allmylifeforsale.com domain name to the highest bidder on Ebay and the University Iowa Museum of Art won the auction. They took possession of the site in January of 2002.

Bloomsbury USA will release a 224 page full color hard cover book about called All My Life for Sale. The book, due out in November of 2002, is a unique collaboration between artist and publisher.
