I bought this used photocopier at the University of Iowa Surplus, Joe originally wanted $400 dollars for it but I offered significantly less, and then I only had $50 dollars in my bank account. So I wrote him a check for that amount and promised to pay the rest later, and took the copier home. The following week I paid half of what I owed and Joe settled my Debt.
